The consortium runs a professional learning programme – Aspire. The training programme has been designed in line with the new Professional Standards and Successful Futures. The course runs for 6 sessions during the autumn and spring terms at hub schools across the region. Facilitators are experienced teachers who work in the hub schools. Allocation to the programme is made in the autumn term once information on NQTs, employed long term, is received via the EWC database. NQTs who work on a daily supply basis are also offered a condensed programme following the Aspire Programme. Dates to be confirmed.
